In this small demo, our tree is a binary tree of depth 4, so it is possible to show the whole tree. The color of the nodes represent the predictive power of the gene subset obtained from walking from the root to that node. For example, by always taking the top branches, one obtains the quadruplet: {H64807, T62947, R88740, H81558}. The color of the top right node labeled H81558 indicates the predictive power of this quadruplet. The dark brown on our scale means high predictive power. By comparison the singleton {H64807} has very low predictive power, as indicated by the dark blue color of the top child of the root node. In between, we see that the pair {H64807, T62947} and triplet {H64807, T62947, R88740} have intermediate predictive power (green and orange color code).
